Claustrophobic due to the sloping roofline

It's the aircraft effect la. duh.... when u fly u feel excited, not claustrophobic meh. It's the mind set. What you tell yourself is what you think of it.

Hmmmm........maybe will still be striking on the road but within this short span of time CHR is popping up damn fast. Likely will overtake Vezel in time to come when comes to numbers coz it is a Toyota.

Took one uber ride with this car, sitting at the back feel dark and suffocated, window too small, interior very solid but took up interior space hence make it quite packed at the back. Vezel feel better.

Very well sum up for this car. I almost get one alsoâ¦I agree 100% of your points.

Regarding the small window at back, I think it is a pro, as I do not like putting sunshade on the windows, like many people here doing so to purposely block out the windows with sunshade. Family with young kids like that :)

Sounds reasonable, though my kids rather look outside while seated at the back. It distracts them from wanting to watch videos on mobile devices.

Friend got injured so had me to drive him to the hospital in his CHR, immediately I don't like the car from a driver perspective. Not so much about cosmetic design but the blind spot visibility of this car is one of the worst I have ever driven. Thick C Pillar and the passenger door windows curvature is really a BLIND spot.

All else aside, I consider it a dangerous car due to the poor visibility and yet, the car doesn't come with blind spot indicator on side mirrors as standard.

Sorry to hear about your friend.

anyway, here to correct your comment on blind spot indicator:

all CHR models come with it, including the rest of others safety features.

Bro... don't assume the world only sell ONE variant.

Sorry I didn't make myself clear.

I am referring to local market from PI to BM's variants - none of which has so far started difference in safety features, including the side-mirror BS indicator.

In fact, SGmart stated that when they cover BM's intro @ https://www.sgcarmart.com/news/article.php?AID=18354

....As standard, the C-HR is equipped with advanced safety technologies and in-demand features such as a blindspot monitor...

Hi all,

Just want to check how does the pre-collision system works.

Does it send out warning from a distance or the warning will only prompt when it is very close to the front vehicle.

Because I hardly have any PCS warning even I set the sensitivity to high.

Not sure if my PCS is functioning properly.

Thank you.

PCS only works if no brakes is applied (even the slightest) when the front radar detects rapid closure. It does NOT prevent collision - only warns you of impending on if no further action is taken by the driver.

One good e.g. is one on SG Road when a C-HR driver apparently failed to notice traffic condition  and came to a very sudden halt meters from a pedetrains.

PCS would would be beeping like mad at least 3 secs before impact.

Distracted C-HR driver ?

CHR is really a fugly car. nothing looks fascinating from design in and out. looks of the exterior looks very odd. this is my personal point of view. Even lelong i wont buy this car for sure.
