Saw chr at turf city. Rear cabin not as cramped as perceived. After adjusting to my drivin position, there's >1 fist space in leg n head room.

Talk about this car for singles or dink, taller rear doors somewhat cater to more privacy - Talk about encouraging more babies n recent minister comment on no need for lotsa space on certain interactive activity..

Hey bro. Give some spec la, like ur height. So that ppl can reference.

Im 1.8m, i tried my driving position, behind cramp like sardine. Possibily sit 3 kid. 2 adult also a bit difficult if 1 is a big size like me. And the rear seating is more upright than other car, u feel like seating on a chair.

ok my bad bro. i'm 1.73m tall. but i find my arm shorter n leg longer. i let my wrist touch steering wheel with arm straightened to achieve the optimum arm bend angle of 120 deg. then i proceed to rear quarters. but i do have frens who r shorter than me but the driving position so reclined / backward till both arms r straightened when holding steering wheel!

agree rear seating is a tad upright, like vitara n mz2. if designer wanna limit car length, likely this is one area of compromise..

I think Toyota also know their tiny 1.2T is just too weak and tiny to move the CHR ard, esp with the dull CVT

This is why Toyota install the 2L Valvematic from the Wish and oversea market Altis 2.0 so that the US market CHR can have some forward motion verve

I can only hope Toyota Thailand will equip the CHR with the same 2L engine so that BM will import that as well.

Hypersonic

Wow, love the long rear wiper...haha.

Very rare nowadays, some cars have rear wiper so short might as well don't put.

Well unless the emissions of either the 1.2T or the hybrid are spectacular, we may not see any example of this car here anymore..

The 2L CHR for the US market will be in the neutral band. No issues at all

Prob BM will bring in the 2L version instead?

I've always said... there aint no subsistute for cubic inches baby. If u want big power, buy a big engine.

Small engines will always have some trade off. You cannot really defy the laws of physics

So prob we will see lots of >2L models back in local market again

Gov more money in their pocket since higher road tax yey... brillant plot

It is not even the LED model.

Notice the conventional halogen headlights and normal lightbulbs tailight... and tiny wheels.... [thumbsdown]  [sleeping]

I don't think that's good. It means the rear windscreen is more incline which intrudes into the rear passenger space and headroom. For cars when it comes to design it will always has interior space being compromised.

Looks vs comfort and space.

I will go for the latter since you will be sitting inside the car most of the time. Lol

I was looking arnd the dealers to view the CH-R .

Apparently their r 3 models tat PI brought in ,

1) 1.8S

2) 1.8G

3) 1. Euro spec

I noticed only the 1.8G had LED headlights, sequential turn signals n electric seats .

The euro spec had JBL systems

Correct me if i m wrong .

Taiwan Toyota just launched the CHR. Borneo Motors still taking own sweet time.

With the current PI price as ref and new scheme on emissions, wonder how much will the BM price of turbo version be.

Might be thinking... "should we bring in?"

True. With that price, doubt will be a seller. Disappointing.
