Well, Thumbs up [thumbsup] to Vettel ; being a multi World Champ to be humble enough to apologize which says a lot. Personally, even if Vettel is at fault it's marginal I feel whereas the teenager Max still feels he has done no wrong!

 

It's fine to be aggressive cos that's what racing is all about but common sense needs to prevail and you need to be sensible on what can or cannot be done on track as lives are at stake here. Think Kimi summed it up well that "this is not the place to act silly or paying back"!! Well said from another Champ [thumbsup]

Italian GP: Max Verstappen given 'gentle warning' by FIA

FIA F1 director Charlie Whiting called in Verstappen for a discussion on Friday ahead of the Italian Grand Prix.

 

Red Bull team boss Christian Horner said Whiting had told Verstappen he risked disqualification.

"Charlie was keen to show him a video of Spa. It was a gentle warning," Horner said.

the challenge is again between the 2 mercedes drivers

Vettel also said that while Mercedes will start the race on the soft tyre - as oppose to the supersofts the rest of the top ten will start with - that might not necessarily end up being the big advantage it seems.

next is singapore race with limited to zero overtaking ... just zoom zoom only ... LOL

Has been boring for the past 2.5 seasons.

 

FIA's noble but on the hindsight naive mission to make F1 cars road relevant had turned F1 races into Mercedes marketing campaign. The cost caps that restrict  engine and chasis development further ensure Mercedes dominance for 3 seasons.

 

Hopefully with major rule changes, they will  open up the opportunities for others to catch up and ensure a more level playing field.

 

MotoGp coming up in BT Sports 2 will promise far more excitement than any of the F1 races.
