Did you get the AIG quote as well? I received the same letter from

BM about AXA.

As my quote from AIG was cheaper than AXA, I went with AIG in the end.

Off topic, seems like the current Camry has been discontinued. sgcarmart states that BM stopped selling in June this year.

Yes the last batch of current Camry has been out of stock for quite a number of months already.

Hi fellow Camry owners,

I own a 2016 Camry and would like to seek your recommendation on car mats. I have tried a few car mats similar to 3M but the rear passenger one doesn't fit nicely and always run. I'll like to check if you have better ones to suggest. Thank you in advance!

Hi guys, do any of you have very low idling issue when u stop with gear in D or even at N?

How old is your car? For an age vehicle, the culprit maybe due to bad oxygen sensor, dirty throttle body or spark plug (check gap).

160K km on the clock for a Sept 2013 Camry

I figured it could be the spark plugs too

Likely to be dirty throttle body if this symptom happened after resetting battery Edited by camrysfe

So this happened after I collected the car yesterday.

Upon closer inspection of the servicing sticker and my ODO I realized that the car has been parked since mid June

So it might have been a startup issue

Today's running has been fine.

Fingers crossed.

What do you mean? The car's engine has not been started since mid June this year?

probably started or not.

but the mileage on the sticker and the day I took over was almost the same as it was more than a month ago.

shows that u can leave the car unstarted for a month's holiday and come back and still be a reliable cruiser.

They must have disconnected the battery... the battery will go flat if the car is not started for one month... you're buying a second hand car, so the dealers will just give you a brand new battery when you take delivery, so you will never know if the car's battery went flat or not...

You can buy the anti-slip mats and slip them in between the original car mats and the new ones you bought... this will prevent the new mats from slipping...
