Othello,

This was explained by JKS.

Windows were probably replaced to pass LTA visible light transmission specs.

For sure the car left the Japan factory with proper glass. So maybe the installer who did the replacement screwed it up.

You never read the warranty properly lah. Did you read the full sentence in the right page bottom? It was spelt out CRYSTAL CLEAR about windows.

PSP415, apparently the working relationship between SPL and JKS is not so good. Hence the problem. You are right the customers must never be the victims, penny wise reputation foolish. I used to run a company and when we say customers first we really meant it. We always give the benefit of doubt to the customers and never argue ( only reason) with them. Words of mouth more powerful than all the expensive advertisements. Letâs see if they mean what they say. Will update you.

If a companyâs business strategy is to be the cheapest generally they donât survive for long. The only way for them to be cheapest is to âcut cornersâ - quality of products and services suffers and finally reputation and trust. As a beginning strategy is ok just to get customersâ count but you must back up with not only good but great service to establish a reliable and good reputation. Initially you may suffers but eventually you will succeed even at higher prices. Frankly speaking I donât want a customer base that only looks at the price alone - this group is the toughest to satisfy and make money (market segmentation). Sorry for being Long winded - it just triggered my business thinking cap. Perhaps my experience is not relevant to this industry.

Thanks for sharing.

Glad for the long post too...Hehe...so me not alone

I just got my right rear window fixed at Optima Werk, under warranty. Optima Werk is impressive and very busy. I have seen many continental cars there- Bentley, Porsche, etc. My Vezel felt a bit inferior. Anyway got my problem sorted except I had to pay the first repair at JKS. I suppose when you have third party service agents one would expect problems like this to surface. I will go offline soon and will reappear when I have something to share. Thank you all for sharing your experience.
