Heman75 Supercharged October 4, 2017 Share October 4, 2017 I bought Vezel Hybrid so no issue. It only affects the Petrol model of the Honda Vezel. The Honda Vezel hybrid runs on a Hybrid electric system that is able to regulate its own start stop effectively and safely. So many Newbie came in to say no issue... any level 2 and above say no issue? ↡ Advertisement

Whether you get your car on time is usually at the mercy of LTA's testing centres. If you bought VITAS ready cars, usually no worries about on time delivery.

And when i asked abt the coe bidding, she said cant guarantee tml will get, even though mine is 3 bids guarantee, no rebate no topup too. And tml is the 3rd bidding. Let me know how urs go. Mine is definitely delayed. Something is fishy, and i am consulting my lawyer alrdy.

Ian1 2nd Gear October 19, 2017 Share October 19, 2017 (edited) Well i got a VITAS rdy car. And as said they say moght not secure coe mine 3rd bid and final. Hopefully today all goes well About 20 of us from the Vezel club, including myself got from SPL. The few that suffered delays due to VITAS delays were given two options: 1. Full refund of deposit plus small interest as compensation 2. Those who decided to wait, were reimbursed or compensated with the highest COE paper over the last 3 month (they gave me a $55,000 COE when the most current bid was at $48,001). Others got freebies that weren't on the contract like scuff plates, window visors, some got the cost of certain addons like window films or cameras waived, etc, as compensation for delays that were actually caused by LTA. Seems not bad. They give the deals in my case car is rdy is no coe so actually is a breach on agreement for my case. Example if today don't secure. Well fingers cross. Am not out for freebies just hope all go smooth.

Example if today don't secure. Well fingers cross. Am not out for freebies just hope all go smooth. Unlikely SPL don't have COE on hand unless they recently did some record sales beyond their original sales forecast. My gut feel is some paperwork is causing the delays. Probably admin people didn't file some applications correctly. Has happened before. Keep us posted if they don't deliver and blamed it on COE. FYI, SPL may sometimes only bid COE once in your name. At every single COE bidding exercise, SPL accumulates 20-30pcs of COE in SPL's own name. They then transfer these COE to buyer's name. This is SPL's modus operadi. joel1 October 21, 2017 Share October 21, 2017 Just wanted to share my experience with SPL. I was very careful and did quite a bit of reading up before committing to put down payment for a Prius. Found posts by Joann on carousell and contacted her. She was very professional and not pushy. Just entertained all my questions. Found out that SPL also supplies cars to other smaller PI and offered very competitive pricing was the lowest for my car. Though the trim level is lower than some but I don't care for the frills. Was promised 3 bid guaranteed but got it the following week. From down-payment to collecting car took less than 2 weeks. Must say it was a pleasant experience and Joann is super dedicated to her job. No regrets at all so far going with PI. I think they have cars ready to go in their warehouse so no worries of car not being able to deliver. They also offered me cat e coe which had higher value than cat b. 1
