The south east tyre at marine terrace or kaki bukit.
100% hand tighten. No bulls**t at all. No black shitty face even when you don’t buy Tyres from them but just do patching. Only internal patch and no temp worm type patch.
Zero hard sell.

this type of tyre shops must support

I understand it is hard to make big money just by selling tyres and why they are doing hard selling

like hair cutting

I just want a quick and simple hair cut

I walked into a hair saloon once before my ROM at the request of my wife for a "proper" hair cut

suddenly my hair sounded like got multiple terminal illnesses according to the barber (hair stylist)

after I rejected all his recommendations one by one

he carried a black face all the way till the end of my haircut

I am happy now there are more $10 no frills no nonsense haircut everywhere

Since you mentioned leong seng, just go to them lah.

I been going to them last 8 years for all wheels related: 1 set vr rims, 5 sets of tyres (current is pirelli p7c run flat), tpms.

No, never kenna pressured by them to buy anything more than i specifically asked for.

good to know that

as I stick to the same tyre shop for the past 18 years, I think I should ask here

just in case I landed myself in a black shop

I heard about Leong Seng from an acquaintance but didn't ask him much about the experiences

I am looking for a tyre shop

my usual tyre shop for the past 18 years taken over by the son of the owner

he has a different style from his father and I don't like it

how is Leong Seng?

are they pushy and always want to sell you something more?

do they carry pirelli?

How does style affect Changing tyres ?

maybe I should list out my preferences

- don't need free patching

- don't need free wheel rotation

- don't need to be the cheapest in town

- handle my car and wheels with care

- do a good wheel balancing job

- not over tightening the wheel bolts

- most importantly, don't say the followings to me

"boss, your wheel is warp"

"boss, your tyres eat one side, need wheel alignment"

"boss, your wheel has hairline crack"

try southeast loh.
they got some of the best service around, esp if price is not your top priority.

Poh Heng Justin aka Hee Man was popular then cos cheap and good.

friends and I have moved on cos there are other better-equipped workshops with similar pricing.

agreed used to be with them, that period they were popular with a lot of recommendations. I've moved on for many years, realised pricing a bit on the high after they gotten popular.
