Today in Europe/US the new Middle Age is considered like 54 (used to in the number of 40 in the good old Rock n Roll days of the '60's, IT knowledge is very important today but at the same time its moving just too fast as technology today is in "disruptive tech" mode today as Innovators just don't care what happens in the market, they just want to capture it. Its like the way Kodak film went, In the West some countries are toying or in with Retirement Age at 65 Young people are cheaper to employ and less expensive and willing to put in more hours (as is the trend now) unlike the good old days of Dolly Partons working " 9 to 5 " but then there still some young in the so called "strawberry gen" whom are taking things for granted Things are really bad world wide, even if your not in the Oil n Gas industry.
