What can remove when come to scrap car

True, those scrap yard take in your car for $0 body value or $100 only, and yet they can take out so many parts and things in your car to sell before they crash your car.

 

Yes but parts do not fly off the shelf immediately. If got ppl want dan they will make money. If nobody wants it will just sit there and rot until they get exported out to some African state.

 

I'm sure you all have watch the tv show "pawn stars". If the item is worth $500 they are not getting $500 from the pawn dealer. The dealer has to make money and run the business so he will offer you 1/2 of that $500. If you are not happy you can leave or you accept that offer. He will in turn try to sell it and make a profit. If it doesn't sell he will have a problem.

 

Same in reality, if you are able to find a buyer for your parts and you are able to scrap the car yourself you do not loose anything...but if you can't you have to let ppl who can do it gain. You cannot compare what you can do vs what ppl have been doing for a business.

Cars which have served me well for a good 10 years. Usually I won't whack it. Out of respect. I know it's Bo liao but it's just me and my sentimental self
