This quote: "For example, average speeds on the expressways have remained at above 45km/h during peak hours."

Change the 4 to 2 maybe...?

if 2, erp = $10 :dizzy:  :dizzy: :dizzy:

The increase is for towards city, not towards Jurong.

And somebody said that ERP is to ease congestion..... :a-bang:

It works, at least along this stretch of road.

A few years ago, I used to use this stretch daily. It was stop-n-go from Jurong East to Ave 6. I stopped using it just before the ERP was implemented.

I still use it sometimes. I was surprised it was smooth all the way to NUS at ~8:30 am. I thought that would never happen. Since the traffic is now smooth, I thought I could leave later and still reach office by 9:30 am. Guess what? When I tried that and used AYE at 9+ am: no ERP, much heavier traffic. ERP did shift the traffic usage pattern.

Yes, but the increase is for AYE towards city, in the morning only.

I think some ppl here are more concern with M'sia VEP which they say they are going to implement in May this year. Especially those who frequent petrol kiosk in JB. Judging by bolehland's super efficiency maybe by year end also not ready. :D
