Red_ryder 1st Gear January 25, 2016 Share January 25, 2016 I was looking at the MZ6 this weekend and was close to buying one. In the end chickened out, haha. Anyway, I spent some time also looking at the colors in the brochure. I like the red, but the missus insists cannot choose that color. Black is also nice, but I had issues with black car before as dust and scratches show up easily. I look around Singapore and it seems like popular colors are Silver, White, Black and Grey. Do you guys agree? Seems boring to choose one of these colors, but the Mz6 blue is also not very nice. Reminds me of taxi. ↡ Advertisement

Weez911 Supersonic January 25, 2016 Share January 25, 2016 My logic is that the colour you choose for your car is the colour you would buy for your wife/girlfriend's lingerie. Seems to work for myself and my friends. White G string anyone?
Watwheels Supersonic January 25, 2016 Share January 25, 2016 No wonder why some car sales ppl show all kinds of bad attitude. You spoil it for the other potential buyers.

You drive around can see the common colours, in SG it's black, silver/grey, white. Also see a lot of blue/yellow ones cos that's taxi, haha... Since you're buying, does it matter what the wife thinks? Unless she is paying for it as well. For me I was open to opinions but I still made the final decision since it's my money My logic is that the colour you choose for your car is the colour you would buy for your wife/girlfriend's lingerie. White G string anyone? porsche-911-carrera-white-convertible.jpg Then a lot of people would not buy car cos don't wear better?

Reminds me of taxi. honestly speaking, red is the best color for mazda car, however red/black color surface at least 5 degrees higher than white color under hot sun, transfer to cabin inner temperature also higher than white, A/C has to work harder and lead higher FC + shorter A/C lifespan,
X5actor 4th Gear January 25, 2016 Share January 25, 2016 Pardon me, but Mazda6 blue looks like "taxi"? Do you mean local taxi color or overseas? I don't recall Mazda6 has that blue tone, and I have seen few dark blue ones (mazda6). Not bad. I agree with some. Color choice is very personal. It shouldn't matter if the color you are deciding on is 'common' or not. Just like car wheels/rims. Some like it stock, while others like to personalized their wheels:) To me, there's no color that is ugly. As long as it suits your taste on the car model, it is the best color. Some colors may be nice but it may not suit the type of car you are choosing. For example, I will not choose a chilli-red MPV but that's me. Good luck choosing:)

kmttan 4th Gear January 25, 2016 Share January 25, 2016 Choose a color base on how often you want to wash your car. 1. Grey/Silver: Washing is optional 2. Dark/Black: Wash weekly if there is no rain 3. White/Bright: Wash daily if it rain everyday The bad thing about black color is that dust is very obvious. The car will turn dull after a while. However, after rain, the car is good as new. If you work in areas near construction site or heavy vehicles, avoid black. The good thing about white color is that dust is not obvious. However, after rain, the car looks like shit. If you don't have sheltered car park, avoid white.

The best/most practical color must be dust color. ↡ Advertisement
