Nzy Twincharged August 28, 2016 Share August 28, 2016 Besides affecting women giving birth, are there any other issues? I read that it can cause GBS also? The same thing that caused the guy who ate the raw fish to lose all his limbs.

Darthrevan Supercharged August 28, 2016 Share August 28, 2016 Aside from the Aljunied and Sims Drive cluster, there are also other areas of concern, said the authorities. These include Khatib Camp, Sembawang Drive, and places where the construction workers live such as Joo Chiat Place, Senoko South Road, Toh Guan East and Lorong 101 Changi its recommended to avoid these areas
Lala81 Hypersonic August 28, 2016 Share August 28, 2016 I know right... it's the same aedes mossies right. Those little buggers are everywhere. Wonder how long the virus stays within the body. The longest documented case is the zika virus is still found in semen > 6 months after contracting it. Think it's an italian male. Besides affecting women giving birth, are there any other issues? it can cause guillian barre syndrome as well. http://www.ninds.nih.gov/disorders/gbs/detail_gbs.htm
Lala81 Hypersonic August 28, 2016 Share August 28, 2016 But for normal males, non pregnant women, the danger should be lower than say just getting dengue fever. But if you get it in early pregnancy, good luck.

Ender Hypersonic August 28, 2016 Share August 28, 2016 But for normal males, non pregnant women, the danger should be lower than say just getting dengue fever. But if you get it in early pregnancy, good luck. I feel the concern is not to be a 'spreader' in the first place, and infect the pregnant ladies. Worst is symptom is mild, and every male will feel they are fit to travel. I'm sure those with pregnant wifes will be worry if the MRT was filled with these healthy looking males.
