Thaiyotakamli Supersonic January 17, 2016 Share January 17, 2016 Knnccb bmw driver, pui. Dont he know that exit from carpark is dangerous as visibility is minimal and ts if were to move, ts has to go to lane 1 to avoid car on left exitting as well. Wt_know Supersonic January 17, 2016 Share January 17, 2016 (edited) worst case is some driver exit on the right cannot cutover to lane 1 and see car moving on the left (inner lane) then also eat into inner lane to exit 1/2 way then cut to lane 1 it's all about patience ... Vid Hypersonic January 17, 2016 Share January 17, 2016 The right lane of that exit from Vivocity can be quite hard to filter out as cars need to move to right lane when coming out. Usually there are a lot of on-coming traffic. BMW should be more patient in this case.

To me safety is everything be it slow or what, else there won't be less of footage of car being hit by straight on moving vehicles turning right at a junction.
Ender Hypersonic January 17, 2016 Share January 17, 2016 Two lanes turning left to two lanes. You suppose to use the bigger yellow box to turn into the right lane.
Imm 3rd Gear January 17, 2016 Share January 17, 2016 (edited) This is the exit from Vivocity carpark via sentosa gateway exit. I agree that the lane TS was on is more difficult to exit as you have to move out to the outer lane (so have to wait for both lanes on sentosa gateway to be clear. The other lane is easier to filter out as that lane just need to wait for the left lane on the main road to be clear. I presume the bmw got impatient because the cars on the other lane exited faster without considering that the lane it was on was harder to exit. For this case, the bmw was wrong to horn you. However TS filtered out to the left lane (meant for the other lane from the carpark that was moving faster) instead of to the outer lane, this effectively cutting into the bmw's path (incorrect lane discipline) so for this case the bmw was right to horn you. Hamburger Hypersonic January 17, 2016 Share January 17, 2016 Cam car seem slow to move out. And cut into left most lane which is not right. Bmw is right to honk to warn you.

flashbang Turbocharged January 17, 2016 Share January 17, 2016 What I feel is, if people behind me are impatient, they are welcome to overtake me at any time. If you kan cheong drive out and get hit, is the BMW behind going to pay for your accident? So heck care him and move when it's safe for you.

Detach8 5th Gear January 17, 2016 Share January 17, 2016 BMW was impatient, but you also went out to the wrong lane. You should have gone to the outer lane.
Skrukawa 1st Gear January 17, 2016 Share January 17, 2016 (edited) Once a while when I make mistakes, I meet good drivers including bus/taxi drivers who let live, other days I meet horny drivers as well. End of the day, who's right who's wrong does it really matter? I can only say, evaluate the current video and see how to better tackle the same exit the next round. For me, when I come up from B1, I will switch to the left lane when no car, easier to exit. After exit, safely eat to the right as I'm heading back to east. If congested, then have to be in full battle order. If not confident to exit, like other bros mentioned, stay where you are, till u are safe to exit. The error I made last time when i was a new driver was to make dangerous maneuver when meeting horny drivers. Sometimes not all the horny drivers are right. So always evaluate whether you are doing the right thing. On the other hand, I have accidentally sounded my horn before while on the road Edited January 17, 2016 by Skrukawa
