How close? Is he the type who maintains eye contact all the time when he's talking to you?

Try this and see if it works :a-popcorn:

Not good in estimating distance, probably 1-ft plus? Yes, eye contact, plus long winded. Cant avoid due to work.

Opposite sex or same sex?

Man and man. If woman, i probably can still endure.

Just joined a new team. This senior like to stand too close when he talk. When I back off, he close the distance. Got any polite way to handle? Might be a little sensitive to tell him directly. Advice appreciated. Kum Siah. ð

You have to stand even closer

Put him into his uncomfortable zone. Then will back off a bit.

Disclaimer: Does not work All the time

I just realised you could be female.

Then my above technique will never work. For he will misread your intention.

then that's creepy lol.

Then background music must play:

Radiohead: creep

But I'm a creep, I'm a weirdo.

What the hell am I doing here?

I don't belong here

Go closer, whisper in his ear

"I think I like you. Are you free tonight."

If he's not gay, he will move further away from you.

:D

But if he's gay, well.... good luck to you

You always talk to superior standing up?

If its a long conversation invite him to sit down.

Then he cannot stick his face too close to yours.

:D

Is ur superior foreigner?

Cos in sone culture, people talk closely. When they talk close, it shows how good their friendship is and it is a form of respect. If u try to make a distance away, it shows u being disrespectful
