Lobang to change toilet sink faucet

Next time if ever you get a plumber down you can get him to install a tap valve so that no need to open false ceiling unnecessarily just to close the tap. This is especially useful in an emergency  [:p]

Thanks! That's what the plumber said too, and he said if it was found that the leak was due to the 'cartridge' inside the tap becoming faulty, then cannot fix and must replace the whole tap, and then it will make sense to add in the valve (or stop cork). As later found the problem and fixed it, so no need to change tap, hence KIV also...

Think just silicon first bah.

Haha no need additional photos.

The inside of the cabinet is dry. Nothing to see.

In my case [helping someone else basin leak], I had to widen the gap between the stopper ring and basin, by loosening the ring-nut underneath the basin. Applied a thick layer of silicone sealant into the gap. Re-tightened the ring-nut to securely grip the stopper ring to the basin. Wiped off the excess silicone sealant. Let the silicone sealant [in the gap] cure/dry fro at least a few hours. Managed to resolve the leak for my case.

Hope this would be useful for you.

Take one pail, fill half with water. Drop a toilet bowl cleaning tablet into it and wait for it to turn the water into deep blue. Slowly and carefully pour the pail of deep blue water into the sink. Should be able to trace the leak.

Then go youtube to search on how to replace the rubber gasket.

My hubby is the master of all. So lucky to have him. When we renovated the bath because the sink was broken by our kids, all the wall dirty because of all their pictures.

What do you mean by that?
