Kia7200 5th Gear January 2, 2016 Share January 2, 2016 I believe many gentlemen over here are waiting for the COE to drop before buying their new car. And I believe among this crowd, there are people who just want a simple car as a transport. Don't care too much on the HP but not 1000cc n below la.And I'm have to searching through online to check which car has the lowest price (excluding those china cars la) And I came out with the following models1. chevrolet sonic hatchback2. nissan note3. Honda fit4. accent 1.4mof course must consider their cevs then the parf value. And There might be models I missed out. Guys any good suggestion for a lowest price with the best bang for your bucks? ↡ Advertisement
macrosszero Turbocharged January 2, 2016 Share January 2, 2016 Not hard to do the following, so I did it for you: http://www.sgcarmart.com/new_cars/newcars_listing.php?&PR1=0&PR2=&DEP=0-10&RPG=15&ORD=&RPG=ALL I would say the Kia K3 is the value-for-money champion for its blend of size, reasonable performance, and price.

_h_r_ 2nd Gear January 2, 2016 Share January 2, 2016 (edited) Good resale value - Altis at $101K, Vezel at $105K Altis drive for 1 year can easily sell $90K plus with no shortage of takers. According to Borneo, all Altis backlog orders have been cleared, so CAT A COE should tank in the next few rounds. Optramagnum 6th Gear January 2, 2016 Share January 2, 2016 Well, when you said you just wanted a mode of transportation, I assumed you are also a budget guy like me.. I will look at good FC and big cabin space at lowest cost. Horsepower dun really bother me, as I'm not the type who filter from lane 4 to 1 in a breath. As for reliability, I got friend who's Altis break down very frequently, another friend's KIA faced no problem throughout 10yrs. So it's luck I guess..

Unfortunately me and thousands of other people so its not likely to happen.

New Toyota Recall Targets 1.75 Million Vehicles, 3 Separate Problems TOKYO - Toyota said Wednesday it is recalling 1.75 million vehicles globally over brake problems and other glitches that posed a fire risk, marking the latest in a string of call backs by the world's biggest automaker. The Japanese giant pointed to three problems in several models including its luxury Lexus brand and upmarket Crown Majesta. Among the issues was an improperly shaped part in the braking system that could lead to a change in the "feel" of the brake pedal over time -- a problem that affected 802,000 vehicles, mostly in Japan and China, produced between June 2007 and June 2012. "The brake does not become ineffective, but brake performance could begin to gradually degrade," Toyota (IW 1000/8) said in an email. A separate issue involving the fuel delivery pipe on 759,000 vehicles, including Lexus models and Crown Majesta made between January 2005 and September 2010, could increase the risk of a fire "in the presence of an ignition source". Jamesc Hypersonic January 2, 2016 Share January 2, 2016 More than 10 years ago, one bro kept saying how reliable Korean cars were and so many lynched him saying no only Jap cars are reliable. I just saying please don't keep harping on how good Korean cars are or one day the price of Korean cars will just keep going up. I hope all the bros who said Korean cars are rubbish don't admit they were totally wrong and buy one now. Please stick to Jap cars thanks.

Push a bit more can get Mazda 2 or Suzuki Swift, which are both not bad, and Japanese reliability too.
