Neutrino Supercharged December 30, 2015 Author Share December 30, 2015 (edited) Thanks all. There is no way I'm gonna queue for 45 minutes for any food. That is so stuuuupid, imo, thanks for the suggestion though. Bei Zan is OK ish, might try it again but been there many times. As you say nice setting and the staff and service is always good. The 'Lamb Shank' is very good but too much even for 5 of us. Yeah the Peranakans have been poor for a long time was hoping for a new one or one that might have improved a lot. Where is Restoran Tong Sheng??? Any update on Lee's Crab place??? What about the restaurant next to Hard Rock which used to be called 'The Tarragon'. Has that reopened yet? Most local knows that Singaporean are the one in the q.

Autobahn Clutched December 30, 2015 Share December 30, 2015 I've stopped going to peranakan restaurants in Melaka in my last couple of trips there this year. Used to go Auntie Lee but understand she already retired and reportedly sold the business, standard dropped since then. Any recommendations for other nice peranakans besides the usual few?

My Peranakan frens say home cooked food is the bestz Nancy's moved to new location along Jalan Syed Abdul Aziz. Did not make reservation and walked in on a weekday afternoon last week. Told to wait 45 minutes. Ended up taking lunch at Casa de Cafe a couple of units away.

Ban Lee Siang not to my tastes. A bit more watery and not as spicy haha. I prefer the Capitol one where they make 'new' satay sauce for customers and its more gao.
