Twincharged

Exceeding speed limit on a road by 51 to 60 kilometres per hour

18

Offender will be prosecuted in court

So that's about 140-150 on the 90kmh road  [dizzy]

Or 101km/h on a 50km/h road.

de summons letter mentions an "IMPOSED SPEED LIMIT OF 90 KMPH OF THE ROAD"... so probably means 140+km/h

Wow, so much interest in my summon letter. I tot it was not a glorious thing to talk about, sure many ppl will scold me. Let me compose a nice thread about it over the LWE and not OT here. Need to dig out the letters and scan them.

I think speeding 140km/h on the open expressway no problem.

If its 100km/h on 50km/h small road then must scold abit. haha.

But some 3/4 lane straight roads do have stupid 50km/h limits....

Korean cars are solid one ok. 140/150 no problem one.

Piangz. Didn't your car feel light? Somemore happened between 2014 and 2015. Hope you managed to clear your points!

Expressway ok la. But it's a no no to be doing 140 on normal roads.

Try driving a Hyundai Pony at that speed.  Feels like lifting off. [laugh]

Well, I've never driven a Pony before, but the one you drove was probably a Pony modded with Unicorn farts and wings.

But recent Korean models after Getz are solid with good high speed stability. That I can vouch for.

Unfortunately they also end up with higher fuel consumption. Mine averages 11km/L for 1.2 tons.

Well... ya that's the problem.

My previous kimchi with manual transmission averaged 12+km/L

My current kimchi with 6 speed auto averages 8.8L/100 km, which is about 10+km/L.

The 6 speed auto is very inefficient and the 6th gear is practically useless except for coasting.
