Samlimlp 2nd Gear December 30, 2015 Share December 30, 2015 Does anybody know if there are workshops that sell and install these air-conditioned/ventilated car seats here in Singapore? ↡ Advertisement
salbang Neutral Newbie May 26, 2016 Share May 26, 2016 (edited) In south korea it is very common to install ventilated seat in after market workshop. As can be seen here: http://m.blog.naver.com/ssodang89/220719772073 , even a ferrari owner installed the ventilated seat in a workshop! I cannot find such a workshop in Singapore. Given that Singapore has very hot weather, I cannot understand why it is not easy to find a workshop that does this :( Neither my bmw 435i nor mercedes c200 has this feature. When I asked dealers for installing the option, I was advised that ventilated seat comes with weather packages which also include features for cold weather causing unnecessary additional cost. You can buy those ventilated seat covers that you place on top of the seat. Many months ago I saw Giant selling it at $50. Not sure if it is as good as real ventilated seats. Vratenza Supersonic May 27, 2016 Share May 27, 2016 my car comes with heated or cooled ventilated seats for both front seats....after the initial "freshness" and fiddling it around for at most a few days... never touch the setting again. Especially in our weather, it cools the seats and your body instantly with the cool air rushing through the seats. Highly recommended!

Are there any options for inbuilt ventilation (like the fan is inside the seat itself not a cover) offered by local workshops? If not can I import the units and have them locally installed? https://langech2009.en.made-in-china.com/product/lqFnAbmJsTUZ/China-Automobile-Seat-Ventilation.html https://www.leatherseats.com/shop/seat-comfort/seat-heater-cooler-unit.html
