Shifting to wrong gear is one.

Two - realising the car moving in wrong direction,  panicked, stepped the gas paddle harder thinking it's the brake.

Not many know what is LARC

You drove one of these ?

Maybe trying to beat the causeway jam by driving across the straits.  Should be in a LARC-5...

First time in history such accident can happened.

Definitely not d 1st time and also not d last time. It also happened to guys esp in reverse parking. Instead of stepping on brake, don't know why step on accelerator.

Definitely a privilege to be horned as a man in Saudi Arabia.

They though lack the opportunity to assume the kayu driver ahead is a femme fatale; or a female driver of a SLK sent plenty of time under the table

Huh??? Blame not enough warning sign and barrier?? If you think you also need signboard to remind you in engaging the correct gear, I think you should stop driving too... I place my 101% blame on that kuku driver..

Hm sorry, my mistake, sentence not clear.

I mean not signboard reminding abt engaging correct gear, but steps to avoid such unwanted outcome for such "careless" mistakes.

Examples are

1) sign board warning drivers that its near the sea

2) sufficient barrier to stop or minimise chances for such car to go to the sea

3) Relocate parking spaces to a safer zone

4) better lights/view
