Took our NRICs and have to get off car into their office. The booth was closed. At ICA office, had to tell them again the reason and scan finger prints, all 3 of us. 30 minutes later, got escorted out into special lane for U-turn back.

Damn malu but officer said not the first incident.

Sheeesh!

Yes. Not the first incident.

I blur sotong and did one in SG and one in JB custom on separate occasion.

I've done that in Singapore custom without passport and make U-turn. Another incident at JB custom, make wrong turn back to SG and U-turn back to JB with 30 mins. [:p]

Here I go again.

Supposed to drive me wife to one shopping mall in Woodlands this morning for TCM treatment. Drove along BKE towards Woodlands. Have briefly checked out the map before starting on journey. I remember seeing to turn right into avenue 5. Saw the sign for avenue 3 and proceeded straight on. After a few minutes, JIALAT! I am driving towards Woodlands checkpoint!! Drove up to booth and sheepishly told the ICA policeman "ehhhh... I took wrong lane and ended up here, how do I U-turn back to Singapore? "

Luckily you did not got stuck in the jam leading towards the custom, if not really wasted your time when you spend 1 hour reaching the custom booth and then tell the officer you took the wrong lane and ended up there?! Lol.

Initally CO was not too happy but later the saw the funny side of the whole incident and that it was an unique experience. Our passports were at home.

Lucky the Custom officer helped me by directing traffic to give way to me. I cut across a few lanes. People must be thinking this joker in deep shit or what? LOL!

Not against flow but cut across 3 lanes of heavy traffic bumper to bumper, who could have done that? Haha!

Yeah. Did it, done it in SG and JB custom. For JB custom u-turn, you will need you to fill up a form with fields in Malay language. There is a template of the form pasted on the wall. Therefore just follow it and fill up the form.
