There are 2 common theme between these cop-related serious crimes:

 

a) Both THINK that they can get away using their working knowledge of police operation.

b) Both are enticed by sexual or monetary benefits.

Yes, mother is ethnic Japanese while father is white.

 

The conviction caught the interest of Japan media. Don't ask me why his mum look so young..

 

But in America, this is a race-sensitive case since all the victims are blacks while the ex-cop is widely reported as white.
