Minimum Post Limit Before New Thread Creation

Rather annoying feature although my understanding is that it is to minimise automated forum bots on here.

 

As it is, am not keen to flood the forum with meaningless posts elsewhere just for the sake of enabling thread creation.

 

So dear admins - do forgive the following "spam" posts and take it as feedback on a limitation of this policy.

rather than spamming all the "hi i'm new here!"

 

you can choose the topics that interest you and contribute those threads.

Maybe admin can fax it to TS and highlight it in red or something.

I agree that contributing to other posts of interests would be preferable.

 

However in my own case do not have the energy to be involved in the forum as much as some others - i.e. a lurker as you will.

 

I do however browse the forum out of interest on occasion.

Well, never know when one might feel like posting something on occasion.

 

I have seen some examples of posting new threads as replies in vaguely-related posts, but that does seem like threadjacking somewhat.

wells, u need to reap seeds first before u can sow. hence u need to contribute to the forum first before u can start a thread.. congrats on hitting ur minimum posts
