although not time to recon yet, but now starting to look around ....

as per the previous post, anyone using Simba internet ? just saw on their webpage that they have 10gbps @ $29.99 !! can we really reach such speeds ? or rather anyone really need such speed ?

with M1 now and seems their current package is not encouraging their customers to recon with them ....

btw, what is the cheapest fbb plan now ?

@13177 so far looking at the plans online, the most economical plan is Simba at $29.99 x 24 month contract. (free ONT)

whizcomm is offering $21.80 x 12 mths ... BUT ... $54.50 WhizComms Installation Fee and $61.04 NetLink Trust Activation Fee apply .... (ONT on Loan)

Don't know Simba broadband network ok or not? 10gbps @ $29.99 seems like good deal?!

Must ask early adopters.   I am look at Simba too but cannot ascertain if the overseas bandwidth to US is good.

actually, i will be content with just 1 Gbps speed .... which i use mainly for my tv as i use my phone mostly for internet as more convenient.

however, no one is selling CHEAP 1 gbps plan anymore ... everyone bump up to sell more.

M1's 500mbps also lose out to Simba's plan.

For general use,  just look for the cheapest plan.  I am still on 500Mbps plan Singtel.  😆
I got specific use, that is why need to find out does their routing to US fit my purpose.

You can check how many GB you use monthly.  Maybe one of those $10++ mobile plan also suitable.

I find using 500mbps already good enough for me, no need 1 gbps. Actually i am looking at the price rather than the speed they are providing. If they give 10gbps at cheap price, i am ok even i don't need such speed.

Me too, I am looking at things from a price point... the thing now is Simba's 10gbps is even cheaper than M1's 500mbps... 😂

Yes, test it out and feedback here. Monthly paying 500mbos with m1 not under any contract obligation.

Sima is only cheaper by $0.46 than M1 in terms of pricing, not say a lot. But Sima given speed is so much higher than M1 la. That's why i am wondering if the broadband network for Sima is ok or not, cause Sima is using their own network if i am not wrong. So far i have no problem with M1 broadband as i have use them for many many years liao.

What happens about SIMBA Contract end?

I have been using Starhub without contract for a long time.

The price is about the same as current contract.

I refused to pay the fee to connect to new provider.
