No you get it wrong....CnC got 2 plans for customer.

1). The normal purchase, which is 30% D/P. Inhouse  finance is from Maybank or UOB or HL Finance.

2). The PHP (private Hire purchase) plan - for those who want to be Uber or Grab driver. Finance under GBFS which buyer can pay 10% D/P and loan 90% pay over 10 years with fix rate of 3.98%.

Hope that clears your doubts.

When i went to book the car, my SE want to explain to me the complicated loan which i term it as CnC inhouse finance..i told her i m using the normal 30%...

The 3rd option is actually not attractive at all, LCR seem more attractive.

She didnt mentioned HL Finance, only UOB or May bank, i opt the UOB since my scrap car also on UOB..

But Komoco interest was 2.08% that time when i book, if i went to leng kee, who knows i might be driving the Elantra instead of K3.

LCR is more interested to rent the car to you rather than hire purchase. They don't do Hire Purchase if I'm not wrong.

Komoco 2.08% is indeed very attractive but don't know what the T&C.

the 2.08% is for the 30% / 70% loan..

ya it is very attractive...but i guess it is only for a limited period as i read in the Elantra post

Maybe we can do refinance in the future..

Car loans no refinancing, mainly because to redeem the loan early, you have to pay penalties. For housing loan usually there is no penalty for early repayment.

Kia interest was offering intereat at 2.18% during FL K3 launch. 2mths later when i check again, it was 2.58% and if i.am not wrong, had remain at this level since. When i asked the SE about the interest increase, SE said kia offer interest rebate of 1k to offset this increase. Of course for those taking longer tenure loan, the 0.4% us actually more significant than the 1K.

My view is, AD's eventual profit margin is probably at about the same. Just that they play around with interest rates, freebies, gifts ( recent iphone) etc to attract buyers and also to act as a buffer against COE fluctuation - not hike cos COE goes up n down n AD will adjust these items accordingly to buffer their margin.

Is the showroom price for CC same as the published price? Some, like KMC, they have this tier 2 non-guarantee offer.

There might be a slight difference, best you visit them up to date pricing
