In term of equipment level, K3 L trim is worse then both Attrage n Bezza...

I dun even know beside SG, which other countries have this super duper basic trim, worse then car 10 years back.

I beg to differ. Some people like me just want a basic car that drive us from point A to B, sending kids to school etc. Not driving to Malaysia or even JB, only use in SG. And SG is such a small country, how often do we drive for hours daily to enjoy the extra features? Somemore, those badge whore will still view Kia as "one kind" regardless of which model u driving, they won't know it anyway.

 

Those are some of the factors that I considered before opting for L model. No point buying extra thousands for more features. Rather save the money for petrol, servicing etc. And i wouldn't trade my K3 L for both smaller and below average designed Attrage & Bezza. So, a L model for a simple user like me, why not?

 

PS: just my opinion from a simple user's point of view.

I have the same view. The requirement for my new ride must be bigger than my old car cos I have a young kid now, need bigger boot space to transport kids stuff like stroller, car seat, etc, bring us from point A to B, no need extra features. Was considering between L and EX. With few K lesser, am able to fulfil my requirement so decided to choose L. Can save money from features that I probably won't use.

Last time on one occasion,fetch my female colleague back.

During conservation also ask me why I choose Korean car?lol...

There is a significant market for the L trim... otherwise why would C&C bring it in? They must have gotten many enquiries for a 1.6 L basic car... just Elantra has the GLS trim also... equally basic...

You live your own life.

 

I got the EX, but i keep seeing this white L with matted front grill and black decal strips, coupled with the matt side mirrors; it looks really good.

Hi agreed. Car is essentially a transport tools for us to fetch kids, CO, put stroller, baby items etc. As long as the vehicle suit your functionality/usage, just go for it. Dun need to bother with those ppl who give meaningless comments.

 

Wait until they are in same situation like us. i.e. got family got kids, then he will realise he been talking crap.... Enjoy ur ride. Cheers!!!

i got 2 kids..but i think the car is more than just A to B...

that's why i wont consider K3 cos of it lack of safety features......

Since you use to send kid around. Safety equipment is important. You may be a safe driver, but many PHV on the road are not safe. You never know when you need those safety equipment to protect you.

FYI, the basic K3 can't even sell in Europe because it cannot meet their safety spec.

So what’s missing the in the L trim vs SX, in terms of safety?

 

I try to list ok:

1) 2 airbags vs 6 airbags in SX (sport only)

2) No traction control

3) Brakes in L lose a bit (can’t remeber it was Drum brakes vs disc brakes or something for rear)

 

What else? In terms of safety only.

think sx has VSC... slightly different from traction control...

 

yup i think the key diff is traction control n 6 airbags....as long as it's not takada airbags i think it will save life haha

i cannot agree more.... dont need cruise control or LED... need airbags and TC

I booked  L model on 7 Sep 17.  3 bids gone. Yesterday Kia ask me to top up 3k for guarantee 3 bid COE. I ask for addition freeies and they turn down.  Confuse, don't know want to top up or not.

Hi, $11,744. Wat colour did you book?

Did they offer u the 2 year extra servicing and $500 credit that is given for g-bid? The time u book they had this offer.
