The base Civic (1.6NA) has 2 airbags. The 1.5T has 6 according to reports I've read. City- 2, New HRV 6.

Mazda 3 Deluxe model has 4. Same for the 2.0L model.  Base model has 2. 

Altis 2 all the way.

Lancer 2.

Impreza,,, don't think this car is even available at the moment. Base Subaru now is the XV and it has 6.

The Swift/ S-Cross/ Vitara all have 6 or 7.

 

Between the Elantra and K3, the Elantra has more safety equipment for now. 

The new Elantra has an all new chassis right? Only the engine was carried over? Seems like the K3 is half a model behind sister brand Hyundai? 

I always thought KIA and Hyundai share the same platform and engine for 1.6L car?!

Yup Forte models are always slower than the equivalent Hyundai counterpart. This gen of K3 uses the same platform underpinning as the previous gen (2011-2016) Elantra.

They do. Hyundai was the bigger more successful company when they were separate. When they joined hands, they co-developed their vehicles. The K3 (Mk1) did come out after the Elantra (last model) so Kia is slightly behind for this model. The K5/ Sonata and Tucson/ Sportage are currently same generation.

 

But the new K3 and Elantra still have basically the same engine.

Congrats! Do they come with HID or Halogen low beams?

I also collecting next mth. I think the difference between fl or pre fl is now comes with drive mode. Which a lot former Thot is another kind of flex steer. But it's not. Then is the 2 front ventilated seat and boot release. As for outlook only front n rear bumper change. Rest remain same

Hello everyone! New to this forum. Just collected my FL K3 yesterday. Not too sure what's difference between HID or halogen but the headlights a slightly yellow so I think they are halogen

The SE did mention I'm the first one collecting. But some others will collect today, so no more exclusivity

What colour did you get? I know there seems to be limited colours to choose from.

for the vast undisclosed price difference between FL and Pre FL, seems many went with FL

Went with temptation red. Similar to the new sportage but a slight darker shade

Oh, I saw that colour but prefer blue so went with planet blue, hope turns out ok as there was another blue in the catalog which SE gave me but the colour chart was not out so play safe and get the colour I saw in the showroom.
