Anyone knows of any shop (brick/online) that sells oakley at decent prices?

Have a particular model in mind to replace my aging worn pair I got from USA 9yrs ago.

Reading glasses from Kwang Shing Bras Bash Complex

Sunglasses from Taka during cardmembers sale, 10% + 10%.

Just to share lobang: those looking for specific models of eyewear can try zalora.sg

Managed to find the particular oakley polarised lense model at steep discount from street price. Also have 20% DBS CC discount (no cap!)... So end up a further sgd40 discount from the discounted price!

Initially i was sceptical and emailed zalora support to verify the model against oakley website.

Now waiting for delivery.  :D

Try not to buy Oakley.

This is what happened to my Badman after a year plus.

Same thing happened to my Holbrook and Radarpath

Yup the quality after luxoticca bought over is not on par as previous. Radx 15 years ago model still going strong.

The badman I bought about 1-2 years ago is wearing very quickly, the radar path had peeled, the one that is still going strong is X Squared.

Don’t recommend Oakleys any longer

I so agree. Used to own XX and Juliet’s and they are fine except for normal wear and tear on the hinges.

Was aiming for a pair of holbrook mix polarised.

What happened to the lense? Seem like the coating cracked?

Am looking at the Holbrook round too.

The coating bubbling/peeling is a common problem for Oakley during the last few years

Looking at Maui Jim too. Read that their polarised lens are top notch. Think only can get locally from sunglass hut. Online prices very steep.

Totally agree.

My last pair was half jacket 2.0

Both standard lenses and another set of tinted lenses had the same flaking.

When I went to the service centre.

I was told maybe I placed the sunglasses on my head and the hair wax could corrode the lenses

The lifespan off The lenses were estimated around 1-2 years then start to flake.

But I still buy Luxottica brand sunglasses.

Oakley sunglasses hv international warranty for 2 years... just changed mine 3 pairs of radar due to flaking...provide receipt, show them, they order, bring in and they changed for me...

Pretty good service...but sad part flaking....

I have two of those less than $10 polarised clip on sunglasses. Those make you look like uncle type. More than 10 years and didn't peeled. Shouldn't be too difficult to make them lasting right?

It is coating on top of lens that peel off.

Camera is not used similarly as sunglasses. Sweat is the biggest culprit.

Clip-on very likely got no coating.
