Kurty Supercharged November 25, 2015 Share November 25, 2015 (edited) Thinking of changing my car seat which I had been using for the last 10 years. It's fabric but really good on hot day Tried pu but don't really like, quality is poor after a few years and tend to glade during corner. This time round, thinking of going semi leather, cow hide. Realized there's many colors to go for, from grey to red, brown, blue, purple etc.. I'm a lazy person who don't maintain my car.. which is the best color that maintainence free? Actually I'm comtemplating between black and red. Red sure looks posh but I'm only driving a small car... As for black, I fear it's difficult to maintain Edited November 25, 2015 by Kurty ↡ Advertisement

Count-Bracula Twincharged November 26, 2015 Share November 26, 2015 Yes, agree. black hard to maintain, have to wipe all the time if not the dust can be very prominent. My next colour if getting a car would be cream colour.

Blue jeans can leave colour on the cream seats. Your butt must sweat a lot. That's why I find it sound weird when ppl say cream colour. Now ppl say cream seat. You cream on the seat? To TS: Depending on the exterior colour of your car. Find a colour that can match. If your car's exterior is of funky colour dan only black will look suitable. X5actor 4th Gear November 26, 2015 Share November 26, 2015 BLACK leather/PU seats are NOT difficult to maintain, as compared to off-white/light colored materials. The dust issue is almost irrelevant on dark colored car seats because we use them almost daily. I have driven many vehicles with black leather/PU, even fabric, seats and the maintenance was a breeze. Just don't take light colors unless you are willing to work hard to maintain it.
