On average about 10.8km/l according to the meter reader on my ride. Max I ever get is 14km/l when I use 98 petrol + returning home on highway very late in the night. No traffic Many accessories you can buy from AliExpress. Careful and buy only RHD (right hand drive) items.
Alf_teo Neutral Newbie August 30, 2017 Share August 30, 2017 Thanks bro for your reply. Mine is a white Sportage color decided by my wife. 10.8 is still not that bad as expected for 2.0 petrol SUV. How's the drive for you so far? Just got my car today :)

thethirdeyesaint Neutral Newbie January 29, 2018 Share January 29, 2018 I experienced similar clicking sound when turning the steering wheel. C&C alexandra could not identify the issue. They changed the entire steering column for me. Need at least one whole day for works to be completed. Plus, my aircon didn't blow air based on setting and only little hot air was coming out when I drove to KL. Got it checked and c&c replaced aircon evaporator thermistor assy. No reoccurrence of the issues mentioned above. All good currently.
Darrenowl Neutral Newbie January 30, 2018 Share January 30, 2018 Hi, Update on the noise. They checked and mentioned they need to order a part in to change out. Noise still there. Will update again once they change the part.
Begelza 1st Gear January 30, 2018 Share January 30, 2018 (edited) Last year also had clicking sound from steering, but occured after a servicing event. They tightened the steering column and the sound went away. A few other problems encountered so far, just to share: 1) Squeaking sound from rear right wheel over uneven road, occuring intermittently usually during hot weather - at first thought it was suspension/braking/wheel joint. Sent it in two times and technician always say cannot hear or checked everything and returned ok. Finally sent it in the third time and forced the technician to go on a 30-min ride during hot weather, 10+ rounds around Leng Kee to make the sound appear. After two days at workshop they suspected undercarriage chassis bolt not tightened but so far after tightening no issue. Which makes me wonder... what happen to their QC during manufacturing? 2) Air-conditioner repeatedly blowing warm air, followed by cold air - my setting always at 20 deg C, usually fan number 2 or 3 (if hot weather). Recently air-con sot sot, will have one period of warm air then after that cold air. Notice when blowing warm air there will be some whining sound from the engine during acceleration. After become cold air the whining sound goes away. Sending it in next Tues for check, hopefully CNY don't have air-con problems . Any ideas anyone? Was thinking of weak compressor, because everytime the warm air blow is when never step hard enough (RPM maintained at < 2000). boonhat_91 6th Gear September 19, 2018 Share September 19, 2018 Hello Sportage owners! I'm considering renting one for an upcoming road trip. We are a party of 4, with up to 4 big luggages. What is your opinion on the Sportage's ability to handle this amount of cargo?
DACH Supersonic February 7, 2019 Share February 7, 2019 New facelift. Will the Sportage come back to Singapore? 2020 Kia Sportage gets a bigger standard touchscreen and more driver aids https://www.digitaltrends.com/cars/2020-kia-sportage-pricing-and-specs-2019-chicago-auto-show/ The current-generation Kia Sportage is a competent rival to vehicles like the Honda CR-V, Subaru Forester, and Toyota RAV4. When we first drove it in 2016, we were impressed by the Sportage’s styling, driving dynamics, and high-quality interior — but that doesn’t mean Kia can rest on its laurels. A refreshed 2020 Sportage, which debuts at the 2019 Chicago Auto Show, will get an extra dose of tech. The Sportage’s styling was already a strong point, helping the Kia stand out in parking lots crowded with other compact crossovers. Kia kept the changes to a minimum for 2020, giving the Sportage new headlights, a redesigned front bumper with more complex detailing, a new rear bumper, and a reshaped exhaust tip, among other tweaks. LED headlights and fog lights are available as optional extras. On the inside, the 2020 Sportage gets a standard 8.0-inch touchscreen, something previously available only on the top trim level. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard as well, and a wireless smartphone charging tray is available at extra cost. Kia also added several new driver aids, including lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, high beam assist, and a driver-attention monitor. No mechanical changes were made to the 2020 Sportage. That means the standard engine remains a 2.4-liter four-cylinder producing 181 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque. An optional 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine produces 240 hp and 260 lb-ft. Both engines are coupled to a six-speed automatic transmission, with standard front-wheel drive or optional all-wheel drive. The turbocharged engine offers more grunt than many rivals, but Kia hasn’t seen fit to transplant one of its hybrid powertrains into the Sportage and challenge the Toyota RAV4 hybrid and Nissan Rogue hybrid. The 2020 Kia Sportage will be available in four trim levels when it goes on sale later this year. New for 2020 is an S trim level, which joins the existing LX, EX, and SX models. Pricing will be announced closer to the 2020 Sportage’s arrival in showrooms. But the biggest news for Kia in calendar year 2019 is, quite literally, the Telluride SUV. Unveiled at the 2019 Detroit Auto Show and set to go on sale in the coming months, the Telluride is Kia’s largest-ever production model.

Cheefarn 5th Gear March 4, 2019 Share March 4, 2019 Yes its coming. 3rd quarter of this yr 1.6 Gamma Turbo engine and 7sp DCT as shared by the Tuscon. But being a Kia by C n C, specs will be better than Tuscon There will prob be a new 1.6L diesel option also. This brand new 1.6 diesel replaces the 1.7L CRDi as found in the Carens and i40 taxi smaller displacement but makes even more power
