Friendstar Supercharged August 25, 2016 Share August 25, 2016 Why would anyone choose the asx? Engine outdated. I'm not a fan of C&C. Mitsubishi is struggling. Old design. It's a lancer ex lifted up. High FC. High road tax. The only big plus for me is its rarity on the road.

Now considering qq1.2 for my wife.

Little_prince Supersonic August 25, 2016 Share August 25, 2016 i think owners place too much premium for being "unique" those niche models always got parts / accesories issues nothing wrong with common models. easy to find spare parts and accesories. e.g you buy for handphone cover for iphone vs some ulu huawei brand. Little_prince Supersonic August 25, 2016 Share August 25, 2016 Subaru Outback yeah. out back is huge. space is excellent. but looks damm ugly though. was my top 2 choices together with x-trail. end up bought xtrail. lol
Fuelsaver Supercharged August 25, 2016 Share August 25, 2016 Depends what you want in a SUV. Clearance and AWD/4WD/4X4 for adventure ? Look fierce only ? Boot space ? Look satki ? Different criteria different choices.Suv does look satki / more majestic / grand. Also no need to be concerned about head in parking or bumper under abrasion, can even mount kerb to goto other side of parking lot wo going another round.

Maybe mit designed lidat for more footwell space? The prev asx has moon roof w mood lighting all round it iirc. Current one no more such feature.. Clement 2nd Gear August 26, 2016 Share August 26, 2016 (edited) Why would anyone choose the asx? Engine outdated. I'm not a fan of C&C. Mitsubishi is struggling. Old design. It's a lancer ex lifted up. High FC. High road tax. The only big plus for me is its rarity on the road. There are a number of ASX owners around. Personally, the car design is rather nice, especially from the rear. It drives well and the rarity is a bonus. No issues with C&C, their service and maintenance are quite good. Nissan has bought up part of Mitsubishi motors, so it is not struggling as such. It sells very well in UK & Australia, so there must be something right with the ASX. Did not consider ASX at first, but it was a good buy for me. But of course, like for all cars, not everyone will like it. The prev asx has moon roof w mood lighting all round it iirc. Current one no more such feature.. Yes, the rear seats are a bit short, think it is designed like that to increase foot space. There is lots of space under the front seats to tuck in the feet for rear seat passengers. The current ASX has no moon roof and mood lighting. Personally, do not find it useful. Those of us who bought the ASX are enjoying the ride. It is a seriously under rated vehicle in S'pore. Good in a way, as it is very rare to come across one on the roads. So it is still very exclusive as you do not see it everyday.

Esp those older design carpark with the protruding metal my current ride boot items can be retrieved by just opening the rear windscreen. but bishan interchange one gotta take note - even hatchback boot lid may contact with overhead structure. ↡ Advertisement
