lol isn't it paired with porridge or congee.

It was a set meal. Think some like to pair roast with salted egg.

How much HK$?

Not so cheap bah. Already like HK150 some years back.

No idea actually. Cos i dont request. And i think price varies between eateries. Mine not high ses one. Edited by Blueray

For people who loves HK roast goose

 

I recommend to go Dongguan Houjie Sheraton

 

There got HAKKA Fruit tree wood roasted goose

 

Really yummylicious

 

Not oily like HK style

Wood fire open top oven always roast the best duck.

tried da dong and quanjude.

 

wasnt impressed leh.

I think it is taste issue. I had Imperial before going to Beijing. Imperial does not have crispy level of wood fire oven duck. Imperial duck too skinny. Not enough fats. More importantly, it lacks fruit tree wood smell unlike Beijing duck.

 

QuanJuDe don't taste good. I have never eat it. QuanJuDe taste really good if it is for VIP.

 

My fav is still 小王府 at 光華路。I get to show my guest the wood fire oven.

 

Nowadays, QuanJuDe/DaDong is overhype. Ask any Singaporean staying long time in Beijing to bring you to eat true blue neighborhood Beijing Roast Duck.

But personally I don’t like the BJ 全聚德烤鸭店 although they are the most famous in prc

 

I prefer this 客家果木烤鹅 no horse run
