inlinesix Hypersonic September 7, 2018 Share September 7, 2018 (edited) tried da dong and quanjude. wasnt impressed leh. lose to singapore imperial peking duck I think it is taste issue. I had Imperial before going to Beijing. Imperial does not have crispy level of wood fire oven duck. Imperial duck too skinny. Not enough fats. More importantly, it lacks fruit tree wood smell unlike Beijing duck. QuanJuDe don't taste good. I have never eat it. QuanJuDe taste really good if it is for VIP. My fav is still 小王府 at 光華路。I get to show my guest the wood fire oven. Nowadays, QuanJuDe/DaDong is overhype. Ask any Singaporean staying long time in Beijing to bring you to eat true blue neighborhood Beijing Roast Duck.
