This one not as attractive as bro carbon82's doctors, but new to me.

Saw this mpv in pie on sun. What model is this?

It is Maxus. Used to pass by a dealer when in KL. Vey spacious like Starex, or should be more spacious as got versions that can accommodate > 8 seats. Now locally available, but don't think will take off due to brand factor. And what you see in C7C website is only the boring ones. Go to Malaysia website should be able to see the smaller MPVs that are similar to the Mercz and Stares equivalent.

[thumbsup]  [thumbsup]

Wow, never knew there's another 4-row MPV around. Tot only that Stavic has 4 rows... Styling certainly is nicer than Stavic.

And this one is from China? Never heard of the brand before leh.

Yup. China brand. I still think the Hyundai i800 would be a better choice though.

is that the starex/iMax?

i rented one in Australia before. The trims and specs didn't look as good as this one shown in the photo, though.

But the logo of the brand for some reason is not appealing...

i800 should be Starex. Yeah. Not as luxurious. The Maxus still more value for money, but not proven to be reliable or safe yet. At least now Hyundai is getting better and is reliable.

This Serena - nice to have the folded seat table for middle row passengers, manual window blinds and separate (half or full) rear boots/tailgate.

Any idea the moonroof shown in the first picture (black roof) is fully open panaromic roof, sliding, tilt up (like estima) or just glass fix roof?

Highway star seems "common" across the board for presage, elgrand and serena...does it mean the higher specs version?

I have not seen any photo of the sun roof so far, NOT even on Nissan Japan website (and under the option list).

As for Highway Star, it is like Aeras trim of Estima, basically with the sportier outlook (bumper and such). Engine spec wise is the same.

From the pics, seems like its just a two-tone paint scheme. The roof is painted black. Not moonroof.
