Didu Turbocharged June 15, 2019 Share June 15, 2019 Hmm..the tyre shop did not mentioned how much air pressure used during installation. Guess I've to pop by the gas station for a quick check. Found out today that pressure on 3 tyres are 242 kPa (that's about 35 PSI) Only the front left is 255 kPa i.e.37 PSI ↡ Advertisement
Optramagnum 6th Gear June 15, 2019 Share June 15, 2019 Do you guys think the PS31 is quite noisy? Clocked about 32k km now, installed in Aug 17. I do agree the soft side wall. I am considering Yokohama Ae50 for next tyres.. Autobacs having sale at $428 for 16"..

QQDreamer 4th Gear June 15, 2019 Share June 15, 2019 so how long usually u guys use PS31 before changing a new set? 3 yrs or 2,5 yrs? but considering the manufacturing date mine is 2016, should be time to change? but thread still alot.
Hachi 3rd Gear June 15, 2019 Share June 15, 2019 I would be concern about the rubber compound hardened under our tropical heat. Regardless of thread. Most recommend 2-3 years. Which I think is manageable considering the price.

Hamburger Hypersonic June 16, 2019 Share June 16, 2019 Why the need to ask others ? Person behind the wheel knows best. How it feels when kupping corning hard and how the tyres feel on wet tarmac especially at mscp. These are the answers.
BoneStock 5th Gear December 1, 2020 Share December 1, 2020 just got my new set of PS31 from CJ last week. My 2nd time using this tyres, but on different cars. Tyres are very fresh, made in 4220. Happy with the purchase. Also used KU31 in the past. PS31 is quieter.

Look like from the KU31 which I used more than 10 yrs ago till now still same. KU31 was the shortest life span for tyre I had ever used, changed out at less than 20k km because cannot tahan the woo woo sound. Grip is very good though. kododrift 1st Gear March 3, 2021 Share March 3, 2021 I went ahead and got the Kumho Ecsta PS31 a few weekends ago. Clocked over 500km currently. - Good price, good looks. I guess its closest competitor would be Tourador 😂 - Made in Vietnam, manufactured date was late 2020. In any case, regardless of brand, this should be better than my old 2018 bridgestone in terms of rubber grip - Noise - No humming sound yet, actually sounds about the same as my old bridgestone (for a new tyre, this is not a good pt) - Grip - Feels grippy and heavy. Not sure if the tyres are really heavier, or they are indeed grippy. The directional tyres feels like they just want to track straight Quite happy with the purchase actually. Where else do I find fresh rubbers at this price point?
Passion 5th Gear July 20, 2021 Share July 20, 2021 My review on PS31 after changing them out. Yes! Changing them out. It’s a good grip tyre but the noise is really unacceptable. Noisy like anything…. I won’t recommend it owner wants a quiet tyre.
