Seeking opinion on BMW Hybrid. Intention to purchase

I have tried googling for the problems of this car (or BMW hybrids), but I am unable to find many bad reviews.

 

So why is this depreciation so much lower than a 335?

 

Even activhybrid 5 is cheaper than a 535.

Do clarify with the dealer if the asking price EXCLUDES down payment, which could be why the price is so low.

Seems like a good deal, though as per all BMW's I would bring it to a specialist workshop for a full check. If can also get the chassis no and check online what the car came with from factory vs what it has now so you know what was retrofitted.

 

Also check with PML if the full warranty is still on the car. Rumored that if the AD spots any aftermarket components they quietly void certain warranties but not mention it till its claimed on.

Hows the depreciation calculated?

 

I understand since there was an rebate on the OMV due to it being a hybrid, the remaining paper value is not high. Are you comparing it with the correct depreciation?

Wow that's a genuinely stunning price for an ActiveHybrid in frozen paint with M kit. As the other say, better find out if anything not being told.

 

If it's genuine price they might be having difficulty selling because it's hybrid. I dunno, singaporean don't seem to think about BMW hybrids.
