Baal Supersonic October 26, 2015 Share October 26, 2015 Q50 for me. Mb engine with 7AT , RWD, turbo. Mz6 should take 2.5 to b fairer. But heard AD for mz charges like entry conti. ↡ Advertisement

F1enthusiast 1st Gear October 26, 2015 Author Share October 26, 2015 Depending on the variants, the difference can be around $30k. What's the prices like? The mz6 2.0 should be substantially cheaper, yes? I look no further than a 2.0l car. your comparison is unfair for Mz6 2.0L, Q50 and S60 both above 180k, Mz6 only 135k, should be Mz6 2.5L at equivalent class, Reliability, FC, Value for money, interior specious, Maintenance cost, insurance premium wise definitely Mz6 Q50 and S60 only win over on performance and driving fun
twizter 1st Gear October 26, 2015 Share October 26, 2015 i would choose the Q50 too. but my wife say the ininfiti logo look like Chery. lol Bro, tell her if you look carefully, can see Mt Fuji... haha
ODCmaniac 2nd Gear October 26, 2015 Share October 26, 2015 If budget is top priority, go for the mz6 cos price diff is at least 20k compared to the other 2. But if u wanna fully utilities your budget of 160k and making sure u wanna maximize your monies, then u left with q50 and s60.
Lala81 Hypersonic October 26, 2015 Share October 26, 2015 Depending on the variants, the difference can be around $30k. I look no further than a 2.0l car. If i ignore the performance and the engine refinement issue, i would just take the higher speced (can't rem if it's called premium/executive) mz6 2.0 then. In terms of cabin space, overall luxury, reliability and all other aspects, the other 2 are not much better also. Bro, tell her if you look carefully, can see Mt Fuji... haha seriously, it's a chery to me. At least everytime i see the badge i have to look twice to see that it's an Infiniti, not a chery.
Axela72 5th Gear October 26, 2015 Share October 26, 2015 (edited) Mz3 and Mz6 is selling cheaper than Altis and Camry. So Toyota selling even more than entry conti? It is the "H" badge that think they are like preimum. Look at 1.6L Civic price. Over 120k for an outdated model Mz6 should take 2.5 to b fairer. But heard AD for mz charges like entry conti. Axela72 5th Gear October 26, 2015 Share October 26, 2015 Basic Mz6 2L is 129k before further discount. Think Q50 is 159k. That is already 30k difference. What's the prices like? The mz6 2.0 should be substantially cheaper, yes?

I think the level of trim, probably have to go for the higher spec 2.0 as a comparison minus engine, gearbox. Think mazda held their prices this weekend compared to the other AD. Anyway TS probably doesn't value performance that highly considering he doesn't seriously consider the 2.5 vs the 2.0. Axela72 5th Gear October 26, 2015 Share October 26, 2015 Anyway, if due to cost of AD servicing matter, nowaday, many AD throw in 1st few years servicing. After servicing end, just do it at outside workshop. Tohto Hypersonic October 26, 2015 Share October 26, 2015 $160k,Infiniti Q-50,you get based model, but you got a more powerful turbo engine+RWD,the same amount, you can get a top line Mazda 6,2,5,with alot "toys",but road tax is higher...FC wise,Q-50 is higher, because of heavy weight....the choice is yours. RWD for Q50, yes. But more powerful engine I think is the S60 T5.

Baal Supersonic October 26, 2015 Share October 26, 2015 Yes, what I meant was the servicing for Mz at AD.. Not the purchase price of a new Mz which I understand is very competitive. Thanks Doc. ! I previously saw from the Mz 3 thread that the basic 10k servicing was ~$400. Not sure about Toyota, but for Hd, I heard from another mcfer its 220-230 for a basic 10k servicing (based on a Civic 1.6). Generally, I undertand that when u go outside WS (using their EO), for Jap/Kor brands, the bill would be ~60% of that that the respective AD would charge. Civic6228 6th Gear October 26, 2015 Share October 26, 2015 If comparing the three - Q50, S60 and Mz6 ... S60 ... I was attracted by the T5 engine ... 240 bhp. I test drove the car and my observation ... the gear change seems jerking. The model has been aroound for a long time ... FL after FL. And the dashboard ... look outdated ... so NO for me. Q50 ... Mercedes engine and transmission at 50k lower than the C250. I test drove this car as well ... not bad .... good value for the money. Cons will be the "badge" and the car being relatively new in the market Mz 6 .... Never tested the car before ... so no comment but for 30k lower compared to the other 2.... My vote goes to the Mz 6 2.0. ↡ Advertisement
