I booked it on guaranteed basis at a roadshow, and got the COE on the 2nd attempt. At the roadshow, the SE seemed fairly confident of securing within 2 tries.

I just placed booking this morning for the fluence basic with 6 non guaranteed Coe. The SE said he is confident to secure in 2 bids if the Coe not shoot up significantly.. Hope can secure the Coe during next bids on 20/4..

Hi bro, may I check how much roughly the PARF value like for fluence? Deprecaition less than 10k? Can advise?

OMV is $23K I think... you can check on Sgcarmart. That's is for the Privilege trim. It has lots of features... so that's why the OMV is high.

Renault doesn't play play with COE bidding lar... they are charging you a price where they have enough margin to secure the COE. The car is a lot more costly comparing similar trim and equipment levels... so they will get the COE asap.

I had 2 encounters with Wearnes and both with coe secured at first bidding although the packages were 6bids. wearnes quite steady.

Supersonic

For VW, those with torque to 250nm are using dry DCT.

For Ford, - Fiesta & Focus i believe are using also dry DCT.

As the Fluence 1.5 dCI is <1.5L & is rate at 240nm, is it using Dry or Wet DCT?

These 2 days busy searching the details for the fluence operating and maintenance.. Wish to seek all bros advise for:

1) normal services every 10,000km or 15,000km?

2) timing belt every 60,000km (SE told me) but I check online is 60,000miles = 96,000km?? Heard change timing belt for fluence very expensive...

Like that i have my reservations. If only mz 3 & 5 had the sky-d 1.5, paired w 6at. Perhaps cx-5 too.

Yup, I still feel that they should bring in the manual option. Other than ??? on EDC, the rest should not be an issue. The 1.5 turbo diesel engine is a renowned workhorse. (provided you use it as it is being intended. Unfortunately, petrol engine is more suited for SG city traffic for reliability).

Renault should really rethink the car name, can be mistaken for flatulence.

Not many people know the word flatulence... also Fluence has a sense of fluency or fluid, meaning the car's design or movement when driven is fluid, smooth or wafts along... big car feel...

Yes, their level of commission depends on that. Your SE should have pre-alerted you. That's why the service level is good and they are willing to throw in some freebies out of their own pockets.

You will also be asked on that when sending in car for servicing.

SE quote me for additional 2 years service at 1.9k for 4xservice which include a timing belt change.. Worth buying the service package?
