True. The Fluence is quite hard to spot. At my carpark, I don't see any Fluence at all. 22+ is good. Now doing about 15.9km/ltr but mainly city driving. Will travel to KL early next year.

15.8 - 17.5 is what I typically get with 70/30 e'way/city driving in a typical week. Noticed some improvement after first 10K servicing.

Saw the website it's RM273 plus international delivery charge of RM100.

I am going Melaka in Jan. Likely asking them to deliver to hotel recep. RM290 for 5 pieces of sunshade (inclusive of rear).

This car is at its lowest price in 24 months. Wonder why Uber and Grab didn't select this?

It's still a conti make ultimately albeit not a high end one. Usually they go for jap/Korean makes from Wat I observe

Probably LCR would sold it off at the 3rd year and buy new fleet?

But jap cars can confirm easy let go.

When someone leases a car, the company like Uber and Grab pays the road tax if i am not wrong. And with diesel road tax being ridiculously high, the company has to pay much more compared to leasing out say a 1.6L petrol car.

So of course they wouldnt care about how much you save on diesel; they only care about saving as much money as possible.

My 2 cents worth

Hi fellow Renault owners, don't really have a place to post this since the Singapore Renault Car Club forum is like a ghost town.

Not a Fluence owner but driving a diesel Megane (110 dci HB), bought 2nd hand about a week ago.  All was going fine till I was driving today and noticed some knocking sounds coming from my engine bay area.  The knocking is intermittent and will occur on/off when I am accelerating, slowing down or idling at a traffic light.  Other times I will not hear any knocking sounds.

To be clear it sounds more like a slapping / flapping sound.  I am aware that diesel engines have a knocking sound but the one I have been hearing is new and fairly loud.  From inside the cabin it is audible but muffled, outside it is very audible and loud.

Anyone experience this before?

Bringing the car to Wernes tomorrow, hopefully no pain to the wallet.  Still under warranty, but who knows what that means in this day and age.

my son in law is driving a Renault coe expiring in 7 months. feature wise i find it is great for a car more than 10 years old. maintenace cost is higher mainly not many workshop available.

with more conti on the road now, this situation may change. nissan is also Renault now.
