@Kklee i think 98 more additives...more smell.

IMHO.
Perhaps.  My concern is more of whether it can combust fully given that the timing can only advance that much. 🤔

Same as why V-Power why sometime they selling at Fuelsaver 98 Price...just wonder why Shell have 2 types of 98 Petrol.?

Shell marketing?

Just like car manufacturers must have a Halo Product.

I think Shell has V-power in every market it operates.

But not all has the same octane.

Malaysia V-power is RON97

If Fuel-Air Ratio is correct..sure can fully combust.

Just drop to lower gear and drag at high rpm for a while lah...clear carbon with whatever ron...hope no need to go workshop for engine or gearbox overhaul...😂

Within 5 sec, you already exceed speed limit

Thus if AFR is a variable and to achieve full combustion, then it should be possible to have improve FC ( depending on design ) when the ECU either reduce the fuel or advances the ignition timing.

Just like the specific energy for different octane fuel can be very similar,  higher compression and more advanced in ignition timing can lead to more power.   Again, better FC?

🤔

Higher Octane allows higher compression ratio without knocking. Whether rpm is 1000 or 10000 the compression ratio remains the same.

Anyway who drives around at 6000 rpm all the time except chow bengs?

First time i heard RON100 allows the engine to hold high rpm for longer :D

Not surprising as most ppl here never use RON100 before.

I used it Mini as well as MYVI.
