I bought a similar ODB gadget as urs for my Sylphy, but for mine, the open door blinking light feature can be "switched off". Unfortunately E-brake blinking could not. :( You check if urs has any instruction sheet about how to switch off.

Mine is for Serena, Elgrand. It comes with instructions too. But i can't switch off the functions. Decided to discard it and bought Magician OBD instead. This new toy should arrive today.

I bought one china model and stopped using it immediately. Everything works fine execpt the blinking lights during E brake and door open. It is alternating Left , Right and i feel it will confuse other road users.

 

Thank you for sharing Bro! The auto locking feature was a standard in most Japanese vehicle until the Japan law maker passes a law to have to feature removed as it delay emergency rescue. Read it in a jp site.

Local Serena only comes with 2 airbags. My ins bought from TC is approx $1300 after full ncd.

My friend booked 2L Qashqai today. Ins is about $1200 with full NCD and NCD protection. I believe other ins should be cheaper but TC is partnering AIG in their package. u may want to try neg to have ur own ins.
