Does anyone know whether T8 is selling the 2017 Serena? Saw the videos on YouTube and internal space looks good and I like the 2 tier opening for the back door.

From my SE, not here yet but soon.  You will have to wait..

Met my SE yesterday and she told me that the new Serena C27 is here, undergoing LTA tests.

Went down to TC and spoke to a SE there last week. He said T8 brought in 20 Serenas and took a long time to clear the stocks. Hence T8 may not bring in the new Serenas this year. Maybe he's trying to smoke me and get me to commit now.

Haha, Serena is so rare here. C27 looks good and sales should pickup for this model.

Not sure how long TC needs to get the C27 on the road. I was told Price wise est. About 10k more expensive than the C26. U can contact my SE if u need recommendation.

T8 brought in the C26 at the wrong time (just when C27 is about to be launched), thus the relatively poor response. And they might be holding back the news about C27 launch in order to clear their balance C26.

Thanks for the photo and indicative price. Seems to be the highway star version, which has more attractive looks and spec. But at $140K, it will be a uphill battle for T8/TC is they are sincere about moving sales.

BTW, what engine options for the C27 to be sold in Singapore? 2.0 petrol or hybrid?

It will be a head-on competition with stepwgn and Toyota triplet at this price point. Not sure if it will sell well.

Maybe they ask the doctor come demo the ride... sure attract a lot of interest... :nosebleed:

Weather too cooling for that doctor to appear with sexy clothing to promote the car. TC better think of other way to move sales. Hahaha...

This is 1 of the rides I have been keen on all these years, so spent abit of time to find out more before making the decision.

This ride is indeed available for viewing in Bukit Timah showroom, but the latest indicative price from a SE answering enquiry is 148k!

Comparatively Odyssey is only $143k for the 8-seater version from Kah Motor.

Really don't know what the Tan Chong people thinking.

I've been researching on this model too. It's between the Ody, Toyota triplets and this. Will the Sg model have ProPilot? Maybe can enjoy the scenery on the NS highway drives with it. 148k is eye watering though!

T8 brought in 2 variant, the most bare is 31k omv and the other is 35k. Both without Pro-pilot function. Was told they were also shocked by the high omv.

Actually not that T8 greedy, Ody at 150k also have omv of abt 32k.

Personally the more I check Serena out, the more I like it. Really like a mini Alphard, both hv flip-up and slidable rear seats. Not many have them. And the interior space volume going by the dimensions drawing is really huge, only slightly smaller than Alphard though physically much smaller. Estima and Ody got no fight. Alas the high selling price. I can accept upto 140k for this kind of ride. If 150k, would go for Ody which is also looking more appealing.

I just called last weekend. SE said can't view yet, pending LTA approval. You got some other lobang? Yeah I couldn't believe the interior dimensions actually longer than Vellfire. Same thought as you bro, 140k seems to be my psychological barrier. And 150k Ody is the higher spec one.
