Thanks for your advise, the quality issue was also bothering me. Another concern is that the item send by them may not fit the car well, sometime their description is for this model, but they send another item.

you are right on the scuff plate, I did not consider the slippery part, just thot that the lighting is good for my folks to see it even at night. Now come to think of it, with those LED light, I am sure anyone can see the steps at night.

Still considering the LED lights as it will make the car very bright. Just ordered this, will be asking my installer to figure out how to fix. He say he has confident but must leave the car to him for a day. Hopefully successful. Will update all. This one must wait for shipment to arrive end month. Will do it in December.

Tonyking, wow you are really spending lots of effort into making your car a comfortable and pretty ride. Impressive!

Yes, the metal scuff plates may be slippery. I was discussing it with my SE and her advise is it will be slippery and not safe for kids and old folks.

actually if wanna fix anything on the car, the best way is to do it right from the day 1 to maximize the cost and benefit. we are not like other country people who drive their car for more than 10years.

You hit it on the nail bro! That is my mentality as well. That is why accessories are everywhere at home even before collecting the car.

Haha.... [thumbsup]

 Bro,

this is how the Gear LED lights looks like. Supposedly PNP. but opening of the gearbox cover must be very careful, make sure you dont scratch it accidentally.

I was actually more looking for this, instead of scuff plate.

post-117280-0-01975400-1446998196.jpgHi everyone

I'd booked the Serena too. The SE told me the Highway Star model's headlamps is halogen and no DRL installed, no doubt there's a light blue 'v' which I saw in the Japanese and Malaysian site. I saw the Malaysia ETCM Nissan Serena has HID and DRL installed to their high-end specs. Does any Serena bros out there can share with me where I can go for this 'upgrade' in West Malaysia?

I think it'll look very nice and 'chio' which I saw it on the new face-lift Elgrand.

Thank you to anyone for responding this.

I have checked on this first day i got my ride, and was told its not a DRL for this model as ours is halogen headlights.

if want to have DRL, will need to do rewiring and tap a wire to the battery.

anyway if your light is on auto mode, the small lamp will light up when you arm and disarm your car.

another way is to always on the small lamp when you drive, then the small lamp will be lighted up like DRL.  hahahaha...

Will check further when i install my steering audio in December. will keep all posted.
