Went to the showroom today.. The Cruze price is really attactive. For 1.6l is around 90k+ and 1.4T is 94k+. The only problem is the seat is really hard.. Not very comfortable to sit.. Anyway can we change the seat?

That's a very good price for the 1.4T. I got mine back in February for $96k,which was already a good deal.

The seats are not that bad I think. Maybe I'm not so particular about the seats. Could manage to get my ideal driving position with it.

The 1.4T still have the Hatchback model ?

I don know if you are meaning Station Wagon Model?, the price for 1.4T Cruze Station Wagon model is around 100k after discount. Just to add on i am also very surprise that their bank loan interest rate is 2.28%.

Yea i agree that for 1.4T is very good price, during april when i was there,  the price of 1,6L and 1.4T is near 10k different in price. This make me hold back after reading forum/review that 1.6L is underpower and 1.4T is above my budget. I have to agree that this is currently the best buy sedan car in the market with this price. But, the seat is really very hard  [:|], make me think twice before buying, it screw up the comfort level lol [bounce2] . For me is abit hard, as i am around 189 height

Agree that comfort level is important for a family car.

For comfortable seats, Nissan probably will suit you. I tested the Qashqai before I got my Cruze and it definitely felt more comfortable. Maybe that's the selling point of their zero gravity seats.

I read on Nissan qashqai forum.. The 1.2t is quite under power.. Specially i travel to malaysia alot on those small road.. I need the power to overtake lorry... Cannot do stunt.. Pickup slow can be a headache.. I was comparing with subaru xv.. The comfort level is there but price is quite high too

Anyone got chip to get back the original power? Was seriously considering this can for an hour until I saw sgcarmart.

Go to Trifecta to get the tune for less than SGD 500 if is 1.4T cruze.

Easy DIY.

You get 180HP with 250Nm at stock. With traction off, you get a timing of 9.0s or below from 0-100km/h.

And most importantly, the tune is proven and tested which all are safe and within the limits of the stock car parts.

For those who are driving the Cruze, what is the FC which you are getting? The best I get is 9.9L/100km. Hmm...

For 1.4T, the FC is above 11Km/L or 9.0L/100Km if is tune for power.

For 1.4T, the FC is above 12Km/L or 8.0L/100Km if is without tune.

Do note the driving is 40% highway and 60% minor road.

And you do not have to be light footed on the accelerator since the power is on the tap as needed.

Hi All, I saw us reviews stating 150hp for the 1.4 turbo. But sgcarmart states as 130+. Any idea on this?

It is still using previous generation ecotec engine. The new one is being used in Opel now. Soon, it will be in Chevy too.

Yes. It will void the warranty. Do at your own risk. [laugh]

By the time the vehicle parts fails, its already more than 5 years. With or without warranty is the same.

If you take good care of the car and on-time send for regular servicing, nothing will break even after it hits 10 years beside the normal wear and tear parts.

Try not to install 3rd party engine tune devices in the engine compartment. The heat generated may trigger electrical fire as well.

Instead go for those proven and tested performance tuner which is a much safer choice. Be it local or oversea.

went to take a look at the cruze turbo last Saturday.

$99,999

not bad but estimated delivery end of the year.

SE, upon knowing that my current car still 3 years to go, advised me to wait till first quarter of next year when they will bring in the 2017 1.4turbo cruze which has slightly more horses at 150+.

first impression is that the car is quite solidly built.

certainly worth shortlisting.

Thank You

Wow! that's great! Enjoy the ride! By the way, I presume, there are a lot of forums about Chevrolet forums that you can find in the internet. Did you try searching it already? If not, I guess, some members here have some information to share about same car model.

Wha this SE [thumbsup]

Not pushy n still advise u to wait which is almost unheard of amongst SEs. Worth remembering this kind of SE should you eventually decide to buy this car as he seems to be genuinely having your interests at heart!!
