Kb27 Supersonic September 18, 2015 Share September 18, 2015 (edited) Not all the things r cheaper. So we must know wat to buy. For example, 30pcs eggs selling ard $5. Whereas i can get it for below $4 at giant. But the onions, potatoes r cheaper if buyer in the big packet. Gd if cook everyday. Shell helix ultra selling at 40+ now. Yeah, I just bought SHU at Giant recently for $39. Edited September 18, 2015 by Kb27
Lala81 Hypersonic September 18, 2015 Share September 18, 2015 We don't have basements or huge fridges or freezers to store all the daily groceries. For someone like me who cook once or twice a week, i visit the supermarket on the day i want to cook.

Even you are those who cook everyday, also cannot buy all the food at one shot la, not very fresh lo even keep in freezer. Only can buy at the most 3 days stuff. Myxilplix Turbocharged September 18, 2015 Share September 18, 2015 (edited) As someone who lives alone, this type is of no use to me. What's useful are the 24hr NTUC and Cold Storage outlets. Edited September 18, 2015 by Myxilplix

With membership, they have already pocketed $35 without doing a single thing or make a single sale. Edited September 18, 2015 by Kb27

Fairprice has about 120 outlets, 160 convenience stores... anytime just transfer to them or beta still, recall all items due to expire from outlets and convenience stores then sell it at HUGH discount at their warehouse... Xefera 6th Gear September 18, 2015 Share September 18, 2015 didn't anyone realize that the reason they can sell so cheap is because they suppressed their purchase prices from their suppliers?
Stevle 5th Gear September 18, 2015 Share September 18, 2015 (edited) Paid a visit to the newish NTUC warehouse at Joo Koon. Located right next to Joo Koon MRT station, an easy drive with ample parking. Decided to visit because a friend told us that they had interesting things on sale, though we had to buy membership. Ended up we bought membership - usually $35 for a year but because this was SG50, it is now $35 for 2 years, for NTUC members. The place is indeed quite big and sells many interesting stuff in larger sizes, that you can't find at the normal NTUC outlets. Ok, enough words. Let my videos do the talking. membership fee started off at $50, then dropped to $35 for ntuc member and it was still the same 2 weeks ago when i visited and I almost signed up. luckily stopped by wify. now dropped further to $35 for 2 years.... guess, it will be $0 for existing ntuc member eventually.... haha, shall wait...
