hmmm.. there's no foot parking brake either. Just found out it uses Electronic Parking Brakes which are buttons placed beside the gear lever.

Overpriced means what? Much higher price with similar omv leading to higher profit margin for Kah motor?

What is the acceptable profit margin? 10k or 20k per car?

Mazda also quite overpriced, imho

it is a mindset thingy. "overpriced" because it is a jap car. sinkie can accept conti carrs to be overpriced but not non-conti cars.

I base on margin..

Less than 10%, good value

Less than 20%, norm

Less than 30%, high

Less than 40%, overpriced

Anything above 40% is exorbitant...(many conti fall into this cat..)...

Your above % is calculated at profit margin divided by sale price?

my 9yrs old basic latio already has it.. i love foot brake vs hand brake...... just like i already dont have to take out my key fobs for so many years, just press a button on door handle... i notice some new car use this as selling point.. amazingly slow... [laugh]

so what is your acceptable level? as long it falls into cat-b level, it's hard to swallow knowing KM always price their model extremely high... IMO it has to be in cat-A level and "ok" to be the most expensive cat-A (1-2k more..) against the rest of it's rival but the moment it steps into cat-b, it is a long shot.... [:p]

I used to drive Latio and I really dislike the drive, even though I like the comfort. Pass it to my wife take over and she traded in for a honda  [laugh]

You don't like latio due to CVT?
