Good thing is price cheaper

What gives you the idea that it will be cheaper with MIT? ... As far as I know so far, MIT model is not 'cheaper' than a true blue Mij model like mz3 as an example.. I'm quite sure this MIT cibic will not be 'cheap' in its class.., anyway, Honda car is never cheap in sg relatively...

Just visited subaru showroom to view Levorg 1.6GTS. Very solid build with good feel interior and door shut.

To be honest, everything is good build except weight more than 1.5ton.

Today price at $127K. I do believe the 10th Gen Civic will be price very close to Levory.

This is good comparison as both also turbo charge engine

Based on Levorg at $127k, I would think Civic be priced at about $140k upwards.

Not a direct comparison but if you see the price difference between Legacy and Accord, Forester & Outback vs CR-V, KM will definitely be priced a big premium over MI.

Good thing is price cheaper

But at the expense of build quality and parts!!

I hv owned the MIJ Jazz and sat in the MIT Jazz in msia..two different animal. Needless to say which is better

Currently driving MIJ car...parts are so much durable!!

Despite Civic's obvious appeal, frankly I don't see how they can sell at $140k.

There will be some who will bite but the general buying public won't even for ex-Civic owners like me cos that price range is into junior executive range already which the Civic is not but of course the drive factor of the Civic (Based on previous models) and its famed vtec engine may compensate abit, coupled with it being the first Honda turbo.

You sure you sat in a MIT Jazz? Thought Jazz and Fit are all MIJ, Jazz being the export model.

In fact only 2 Hondas sold locally are MIJ, Jazz and Odyssey IIRC.

Malaysia Jazz I thought is CKD assembled in Malaysia based on kits supplied from Japan and thailand?

I saw his post but my understanding is that both Jazz(export) and Fit(domestic) are MIJ. None are MIT for this model unlike Civic, City, Accord, CRV, HRV etc. and that's why I'm asking.

I stand corrected though as my info is from Kah Motor S'pore not Malaysia.

QQ with 1.2T already got people complain underpowered, how can a cibic fly with 1.0T?? dont forget cibic is not for uncle but chiongster (you might not agree but to me, cibic buyers are mostly chiongster, period). if i wanna buy cibic,  will consider a 1.5T but never a 1.0T. [:p]

You are wrong, a 1.0T cibic, mod with 20x mugen power sticker is more powerfool than a WRX STI!!  :TT_TT::nosebleed::dizzy::XD:

Jazz in msia is ckd and from TH...confirmed caused my cousin owned one!! And the materials/parts are no where near MIT.

Even when i close the doors, sounded hollow...i hv my reservations if MIT..
