Very :a-bang:  :a-whiteflag:  :a-rip:  :a-noway:

You must be disappointed after seeing maz3's price

I agree. Even thought its Thai made. Its still a Honda ride. [drivingcar]  :a-m1212:

I find the civic overall not a bad car, esp when the price now is quite reasonable if you compared with the new mazda 3 and altis.

Tomorrow shall go to KM and see the Civic. Hopefully can give me a higher trade in value.

That's the way!

I've been there, done that.

The Power of Dreams!

Mazda belong to the lower brand/grade/tier compare to Honda.

But don't put hope that Kah Motor is able to give you a higher trade in price.

I got a shock when they quote me for my Mazda 3 1.5 Deluxe.

It's one of the lowest trade in price I received.

Check your PM

Altis also CVT

Dont think will be problematic unless you every time redline

For CVT, my gut feeling is the problem will surface after the 5th year.

After all, it is run by belt. all that spinning & stretching will subject to wear & tear.

Maybe will need an overhaul within the 10 years life span.

Compared to previous gen Honda traditional auto-transmission, which seems to never break down one.

Well, to be fair, even manual have to change clutch.

Only see if the repair is expensive or not

But har after a few look on this civic, the behind design make the car looks like a spaceship, similar like prius.  [laugh]

CVT run by belt? It is timing belt you mean? Pardon for my silly question. Lol.

Thought cvt kinda hard to repair, faster to just get a reconditioned or replace the whole gearbox.

Prius is nice but no hybrid for me.

2 Air bag to me is ok. Power of dreams is better then a zoom zoom.

Bro, PM you

Anyway alot of people say the closest you can get to a conti car by buying a Jap car is Mazda

If high fuel consumption, squeezy rear room with a needless huge lump is your idea of a conti car....
