blmg 2nd Gear June 12, 2018 Share June 12, 2018 From the looks of it, City, Jazz 1.5, Civic and HR-V seems unaffected. Only affected model is probably CR-V 5-seater. The testing of CR-V 5 seater which is a new model has been completed. I think the rest still pending LTA's final testing. ↡ Advertisement

harhar 1st Gear June 19, 2018 Share June 19, 2018 (edited) Collected my civic turbo on Hari Raya eve and have driven it for around 500km. A joy to drive as compared to my previous car, a 1.2 qashqai. Some points to share: - Sufficient pick-up from stationary and lots of pull especially from cruising speeds of 50-60km/h. - Handling is pretty sharp but takes some getting used to as the steering wheel does not go beyond 1 full turn. - Car is really, really low. If you are moving from a SUV to this, getting in and out requires way more effort hah. - Very good fuel consumption for a 170hp car. Getting 15.5km/l average for 70:30 highway/city driving. - Interior is pretty solid albeit dull. Ordered a few accessories from ezbuy such as gunmetal gear knob cover, a/c dial cover etc. - Back seating is deceptively large. More headroom & legroom than the qashqai. The sunroof also adds to the interior's roominess. Overall, a really, really good car so far. Makes my 35km commute to work a lot more pleasant. harhar 1st Gear June 19, 2018 Share June 19, 2018 So fast you sell off your qashqai and change to civic? Yeah relatively fast I guess. Had it for 2.5 years and was looking for a more spirited drive. The 1.2l engine was abit underpowered from standstill especially and I was averaging 12km/l even on 80% highway driving Still young now la so I went ahead to change. No regrets.
therock Supersonic June 19, 2018 Share June 19, 2018 A bit underpowered? Even the 1.6 civic will outrun the 1.2 QQ That 1.5t is a lot of fun. Long wheelbase certainly helps too.

If you bought new and changed the car at 2.5 years, think should lose a lot money le. But since you enjoy your new ride with no regrets, just happy and no need to think so much. Actually qashqai 1.2L should be underpowered, even the car is turbo. Cause you see the car so big, dont believe 1.2L is sufficient la.
