Just joking.

BTW big gap now between 1.6 and 1.5t

Yup about 25k different...prefer 1.5T but the gap too big...in the end still keep my FD1.8 and waiting for durian to drop

Selling point for this gen 10 is the 1.5t. But unable to justify the 25k difference. FD 1.8 is a good car, unless it's end of Coe, else make sense to continue for now.

Next round of Coe bidding is key. If rebound a lot. Durian not coming

Had a chance to see the 1.6 in the showroom. Boot entry too small. Also, why is the price as the same as the HRV? Civic is a basic sedan, nice but still basic. Correct pricing should be 90+k in my opinion. Too expensive at this price point. Anyone know if the hatchback also has the "Prawn mee signboard" back lights?

Backlight for hatchback is same as sedan. Which branch you went, at Leng Lee, the hatchback model is park side by side with the sedan

Apparently this is how Kah Motors priced the Civic.

Sorry, when i went 2-3 weeks back i didn't notice the hatchback.

Anyway, super overpriced for a Thai made car. Think better to go for the Mazda 3. Subaru Impreza hatchback would probably have been the choice with the most value but as its sold out, I think Mazda 3 is the next best alternative.

Yes, I considered the 1.0(T). Went down and had a look. The deal breakers for me of why I did not go with 1.0(T) were

  • it does not have rear aircon,
  • it does not have keyless engine start
  • the depre was higher than the 1.6 by KM
  • No ex-stock. Will only come in Nov/Dec17
  • Could not test drive the car. So don't know how it will feel like...
Went to see the 1.0T at PI last week. Some add on:

- fabric seat (gasp)

- halogen headlight

- no lanewatch

Base on the price I saw 113,800 not worth it in my opinion

Agree. If it is same price point as the 1.6NA I give it to them albeit less features with the turbo engine. But now is a 10K difference just for that 1.0T engine. No go.

Morning everyone!

New to the forum. Would like to find out from Civic 1.6l owners, what is the fuel consumption (km/l) you had achieved so far?

Cheers!

Honda cars are always overpriced.

It's always the case for KM, always higher than other Japanese and Korean makes but they are still people buying.

7.3l/100km, which is about 13.7km/litre
